GZERO Additive Announces Transition to Chube Conduction Hot End and 1.75mm Filament

Due to Supply Chain Shifts, Company Upgrades to Superior American-Made Component and Offers Customers Expanded Material Options

Cincinnati, OH – 19 May 2025 – GZERO Additive today announced it will transition its flagship 43 Series 3D printers to the Chube Conduction hot end and 1.75mm diameter filament. This change, necessitated by the discontinuation of the previous components, presents an opportunity to enhance customer experience through superior technology and unlocks a wider range of material options.

The switch to the Chube Conduction hot end, an American-made component, ensures continued high-quality printing with improved thermal performance. This transition also involves shifting to 1.75mm filament diameter, which will dramatically increase the variety of filament and color options available to customers.

"We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible 3D printing experience," said Michael Parks, Co-Founder of GZERO Additive. "While the discontinuation of our previous hot end required us to make a change, we saw this as an opportunity to step up our game. The Chube Conduction hot end will provide significant benefits to our users, including increased nozzle size options and improved print speeds at low layer heights. Moving to 1.75mm diameter filament gives our customers a wider selection of materials and colors. We’re excited to see what our customers will create."

Key Benefits of the Transition:

  • Expanded Filament Options: The switch to 1.75mm filament unlocks a vast range of materials, suppliers, and colors for greater creativity.

  • Improved Print Quality: The Chube Conduction hot end provides superior thermal performance for more consistent and reliable prints.

  • Guaranteed Quality: The Chube hot end’s American manufacturing ensures high-quality and availability.

Upgrade Details for Customers:

  • In-Warranty Customers: Customers whose GZERO Additive printers are currently within their warranty period will receive the upgrade free of charge in the coming months. GZERO Additive will contact eligible customers to schedule the upgrade.

  • Out-of-Warranty Customers: Customers whose printers are outside of their warranty period will have the option to purchase the upgrade at parts cost. Details regarding pricing and availability will be provided soon.

GZERO Additive is excited about the benefits these changes will bring to its customers and remains dedicated to providing excellent service and support.
